A little about me... I started out life right here in little 'ol Huntington, WV. At 3 years old, my family was relocated to Champagne, Il., about 3 hours outside Chicago. My father worked for a freight company and, long story short, it didn't work out. We spent a few years in Illinois but moved back to West Virginia when I was 6. As a child, I always loved 2 things...talking to people and music. As a matter of fact, if you run into my folks, they'll tell you they always saw me as one of 2 professions...Radio DJ or Airline Attendant! I had a great childhood. I have one brother and even though we never get along, we have the deepest respect for one another. As a matter of fact, he is in a loca rock band here in Huntington. In high school, I got really into journalism. But the only thing they offered in terms of journalism was print (newspaper), and I really enjoyed that. When I was a senior at Huntington High School, I became involved in a program aimed at getting real job experience in different fields while in high school. The program was called "The Boy Scouts of America Explorer Program". One day, I got a call inviting me to a "Radio Explorer Post" due to my references for my career I wrote down in high school. The post was held at Clear Channel Worldwide. When the post ultimately ended, I was still very interested in the job. The boss of the station liked the way I talked and interacted with people, so he gave me a part time job. I've jumped around over the 8+ years I've been in radio, but in August of 2006, I came back to where I belong and worked the nightshift for 100.5 WKEE. In order to finish out college, I stepped down from the nightshift and began to work weekends again. I, eventually, finished college and began working toward my career goals. After working for X 106.3 as a fill DJ, in January 2010, I was giving the opportunity to work for the X as the night jock Monday through Saturday 7p.m. to Midnight. When the opportunity came for me to do more "digital" projects and let the legendary Nikki Sixx and Sixx Sense take over the nights for me, I decided that you guys would rather listen to Nikki than plain-old-me. :) I couldn't stay gone for long though. In addition to my regular duties, I decided I would connect with listeners, not just on the air, but online as well. I started doing Saturday Nights and Sunday Afternoons on the X, plus an updated blog daily. Recently, I've taken over duties for Loud N Local, a full hour of THE BEST is local and regional rock every Sunday Night at 7:00 p.m. right here on the X! The Rest is History.............
