Beginning in 2001 I made my rounds in the print version of music media, along with concert photography. Eventually I would use those connections to get hired into my first radio gig, which was with our sister station WKEE. After bouncing around on various weekend shifts I was able to ink my first full time air shift in early 2004 with WBKS, another one of our sister stations. The only downfall was that I was now working in a top 40 radio format and a hip-hop format -- Not exactly what I had in mind. After doing the hip-hop thing for nearly 2 years on the 9am-2pm shift, I finally got the opportunity that I had been hoping for -- an opening on WAMX. On January 1, 2006 I began being the night time voice of X106.3 (7pm-1am) and shortly following Loud and Local was also handed over to me. I thought nights is where my radio career in Huntington would end -- but that turned out not to be the case. On May 4, 2009 I took over the afternoon drive shift (3p-7p) on X1063. Outside of the radio industry I'm a wild and crazy 25-year-old college graduate! I have a B.A. in Radio/Television Management and Production and a minor in Marketing from Marshall University. I'm also one of those folks who doesn't think living in WV is a good enough reason to EVER cheer for WVU --- I'm a big time Morgantown hater. In a few years I hope to branch out and begin a long career in band management and record label work. For now though, I'm livin' the dream and playing rock and roll for a living!
